The Sam Bennett of ireland claimed his second stage win on stage 14 in Oviedo for this year’s Vuelta a Espana.
The Bora-Hansgrohe rider crossed ahead of Max Richeze of Argentina with Tosh van der Sande in thirdparty.
The end was ruled by a enormous crash in the last kilometre which took many from the peloton out and prevented a mass sprint.
Race leader Primoz Roglic of Slovenia suffered a fall in the wreck but did not lose any moment.
The point was presumed to be a quieter day following two weeks from the saddle and also mountain biking to come on Sunday and Monday.
Entering the last kilometre riders were sent tumbling on an incline, although it geared up to get a couple finish.
Bennett was ahead of this, and appreciated a comfortable victory than he might have imagined as Richeze and Van der Sande was overtaken by him at the last 500m.
After winning his fifth in a Grand Tour, and stage three on 26 August at the 2018 Giro d’Italia after three, it was his second La Vuelta stage success.
The 28-year-old is having an exceptional season with this his 13th achievement.
“I am just delighted,” Bennett told Eurosport. “I’ve reached my goal for the entire year, but hopefully there are just another one or two more wins .”

Cardinals vs Braves: Free MLB Picks and Game Predictions

It Is a winner-take-all Match Wednesday for a spot in the NLCS as the St. Louis Cardinals See the Atlanta Braves in Game 5 of the NLDS.

If you followed our recommendation, you are ahead on the MLB betting this week because we chose St. Louis to overcome visiting Atlanta in Game 4 of the NLDS to induce this Sport 5. Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina — a future Hall of Famer — added to his status in that town.
Out of second, Molina muscled a single into right field with his team down 4-3 at the bottom of the eighth with two outs. At the bottom of the 10th, he struck a sacrifice fly to left field.
Wednesday is a fantastic night of baseball with this game and at the LA Dodgers in their Sport 5. The 2 winners would meet in the NLCS. Its the first game since dropping the 2012 Wild-Card Game of Atlanta.
Its the Braves first since decreasing the 2004 NLDS into Houston in five in a string. It is the first St. Louis winner-take all game because beating the Pirates at Game 5 of those 2013 NLDS.
St. Louis has its own genius on the mound and arguably the best young pitcher in baseball in Jack Flaherty (11-8, 2.75). He had a good second half of this season, going 7-2 with a microscopic 0.91 ERA in 15 starts since the All-Star split with an opponents batting average of .142 along with 124 strikeouts at 99.1 innings.
The 23-year-old took the loss in Atlanta in Game 2 of this series, since he allowed three runs and eight hits with eight strikeouts over seven 34, however, it was a quality beginning.
Atlanta scored a run in the bottom of the first to a Josh Donaldson RBI single — that might be his final game with the Braves should they shed with Donaldson place for free service — then two in the bottom of the seventh on a two-run homer from Adam Duvall. Flaherty was somewhat worse on the street this season (3.31 ERA) than in the home (2.37).
Will supervisor Mike Shildt trust nearer Carlos Martinez When the Cardinals have a lead heading towards the bottom of the ninth? He has pitched 3.1 innings in this show having an ERA of all 16.20 and was hammered from the Braves in the regular life also.
Martinez did undergo three big outs in the ninth inning on Monday even though allowing a leadoff double to Ronald Acuna Jr..
Clearly all hands will be on deck for the Braves, that are thrilled that Tuesday was an off day since they used half the eight relievers in Game 4 in their NLDS roster.
Were Mark Melancon and Max Fried. Fried had pitched the first few games of this sequence. He had been a high school teammate of Flahertys.
Atlanta needs more crime from Donaldson (2-for-15) along with Freddie Freeman (2-for-16). Theyve united to proceed 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position. The Braves have won 79 games in the postseason and regular season in their last at-bat, many in the majors, since Brian Snitker took over as director on May 17, 2016.
It is Mike Foltynewicz (8-6, 4.54) on the bulge here. He became the first Braves pitcher to throw seven innings of scoreless ball as Tom Glavine at Game 2 of the 2001 NLDS and outdueled Flaherty at Game 2 allowing only three hits.
Foltynewicz had a 1.73 ERA over the last seven regular-season starts. Flaherty has been the only NL pitcher having a better ERA (0.96) during that span. Wednesday will mark the postseason beginning of the career of Folty. The Braves dropped his begins Games 1 and 4 of the NLDS year.
Free MLB picks:
Love, love the below of 8 in BetOnline (and jump on that until it drops to 7.5, which it likely will). Prior to the playoffs began, we chose a Nationals-Cardinals NLCS so we have to back St. Louis on the moneyline.

ARE BREEDERS’ CUP FAVORITES VULNERABLE?

From Vance Hanson, TwinSpires.com

When last year we analyzed the vulnerability of five of racing’s marquee stars heading into the Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita, it was hard to envision all would meet defeat, but that’s what occurred as favorites wound up carrying it on the chin throughout the weekend.
Far from it being our intention of employing some kind of jinx, we will perform the exercise again for next weekend’s fixture in Del Mar by ranking from more likely to less probable the odds of the most noteworthy of Thoroughbreds of not making it into the winner’s circle.
Arrogate (Classic)
Six months into the season it had been widely believed he would be an odds-on favorite in this race. Two summer losses at Del Mar later, it is more likely than not that North America’s all-time leading money winner likely won’t even function as post-time favorite.
While trainer Bob Baffert has blamed largely himself for Arrogate’s kind reversals at the San Diego H. (G2) and Pacific Classic (G1), the sneaking suspicion is that this might not be the same colt as we saw 9-12 months before, the kind we’d probably need to see again in order to conquer a field of this depth and quality.
Gun Runner (Classic)
Has usurped Arrogate, that beat him soundly in both prior meetings, in popular polls of recent months after a series of incredible efforts in the Stephen Foster H. (G1), Whitney (G1), and Woodward (G1).
While deserving of favoritism in the weekend’s main attraction, he faces a far sterner task here and has yet to win over 1??1/4 kilometers in three attempts.
Lady Eli (Filly & Mare Turf)
Slightly further down the list last year, the beloved mare was shockingly run down by Queen’s Trust by a nose, a significant upset in retrospect given the way that re-opposing rival has failed to flatter her own form.
Meanwhile, the Lady Eli enters this re-match having an additional two begins under her belt compared to last year, and more adorable. A distance decrease from 10 furlongs to nine is just another factor in her favor.
Bolt d’Oro (Juvenile)
The potency of his victory in last month’s FrontRunner (G1) figures to make him among the strongest favorites in this race for some time. Simultaneous regression by him and natural improvement by another is certainly a possibility, but it’s completely understandable while he’ll be one on many bettors’ multi-race exotics plans.
Lady Aurelia (Turf Sprint)
Despite a last-out blow off by a nose at the Nunthorpe (G1), her tour de force from the King’s Stand (G1) against elderly men at Royal Ascot remains one of the unforgettable performances of this season anywhere on the planet.
Unless hindered by a highly unfavorable post, the three-year-old filly appears set to place her prowess on full screen above a trip she absolutely loves.

BIGMARLEY3’S UFC ON ESPN+ 11 DRAFTKINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This weekend, we’ve got a 12-fight card in Sweden. It was a 13-fight card, but we just had Oezdemir/Latifi drop off, so be sure they aren’t in your lineups. DraftKings has some strong competitions for us to win a great deal of money from this week. The most important GPP is a $15 buy and $25k belongs to 1st place with a total of 100k being paid out. They also have a new Qualifier only contest for $175,000. There will be 100 qualifiers for that competition and they will compete for a $50k first location cost and that $175k will probably be distributed between all 100 admissions that qualify. I will try to receive my seat this week. Those Qualifier only competitions can be actual bankroll suckers, so be cautious chasing those too hard. I’ll probably stick to the very best GPP this week and throw a small number of entries at the $25k decoration, then I am going to take a few shots in the Q. I will also be posting H2Hs as well as picking up H2Hs throughout the week to receive a good quantity of drama into cash games.
With that said, let us get to a couple plays I enjoy this week Together with my fade of the week:
Cash Game play of this week — Alexander Gustafsson — $9,300
Gus is my most confident pick of the card this week and he is also the biggest betting favorite on the card. I think we can stack this principal event in cash games and use both Gus and Anthony Smith, but I am not sure if I’ll do this or not. I’ll for sure have Gustafsson in my money lineup though and he’s who I will be starting that lineup with. With 5-rounds to work with I think he’s the maximum ceiling on the card and that I believe he gets a finish in this fight. Perhaps with numerous takedowns. He’ll be extremely popular in GPPs so if you want to escape from him I believe that the tournaments are the spots for that. I’ll be locking him into my cash lineup though personally.
GPP drama of the week — Tonya Evinger — $8,600
On DraftKings, I enjoy Evinger in her fight and that I have zero interest in Lansberg. Evinger’s greatest path to success is punishing Lansberg on the floor and that scores highly if she can do that. In addition, I think she could find a finish. I think she’s in play in most formats and I really do think she’s 100+ upside here and that is why she’s my GPP play of this week. There aren’t many UFC matchups I would say that for with Evinger at this stage in her career, but this one looks perfect for her. I believe she dominates this fight and finishes it with ground in pound in around 2 or 1. If that’s true, she should score well and win somebody $25k.
Underdog play of the week — Devin Clark — $7,500
I’m pressured to play Devin Clark this week since he is just $7.5k however he’s the current betting favorite. I love that kind of worth on DraftKings and that’s what’s forcing me to roster him. We must include”underdogs” within our DK lineups and when we could really get a favorite, or possibly a roster with 6 favorites, which helps our likelihood of hitting all 6 conflicts and hopefully taking down a GPP. Clark ought to be popular this week also due to this value so I think he’s in play as a money game cube and if you would like, but in GPPs you’ll need to get him in more than ~33% of your lineups to get any leverage over the field.
Fade of the week — Duda Santana $8,600
Duda Santana is an easy fade for me . She’s $8.6k however she is the underdog about the betting line. She’s also +365 to win ITD. If I am paying that cost on DK I need higher completing upside or somebody who’ll be going for a lot of takedowns. I really don’t see her having much of a ceiling in this fight even if she does win so I don’t see her being on the 25k lineup. That is the reason I will be complete fading Santana this week. If I had been making 150 lineups then I’d include her in the combination, but I would need 50 lineups before I even contemplated using her.
Thank you for reading this and decent luck this weekend! If you would like my own full-card breakdown at which I breakdown every fight about the card and provide my full DraftKings analysis, as well as all of my pick predictions, you can find that for only $7.99 at this link below:
(Premium stakes are available at that link as well. I am 79-48 to get +256.49un (+$25,649) since May 19th, 2018 on Premium Plays)
